Q: The lock, which appears on my browser whenever I visit a secure home page, does not show up on the Town & Country home page. Is it safe to enter my "Sign In" information on this page in the boxes provided?
A: Yes. It is safe to enter your "Sign In" information on the Town & Country home page. Your Member Number and Password are not transmitted until you click on the "Sign In" button. Upon doing so, a secure session is established between your browser and our systems. Your information is then encrypted using a 128-bit encryption algorithm (the strongest encryption method commercially available) and sent to our systems for authentication into Online Banking. Please note that Town & Country never transmits your information without it being encrypted first.
If you are not comfortable with entering your "Sign In" information, we have provided a direct link to our Online Banking page. Look for the "click here for secure sign-on" button.
For more information about online security please visit our "Security" section location at the top of the home page of our website.
