If you are contemplating separation or divorce from your partner or spouse or are in the midst of this life changing experience, chances are you have many questions and concerns about money.

In this workshop, you will hear about why and how to separate your personal finances to help establish your new life. You will learn about building a budget to fit your new lifestyle, explore the question of "should I keep the house", what you can do to protect your credit and more.

Cancer + Financial Health

A cancer diagnosis can be life changing, taking an emotional and physical toll on cancer patients and their families. For many people, the financial impact of cancer is also a daunting reality.

Cancer patients may have many financial questions.

   • How do I pay for treatment and medication?

   • What can I do with my mounting debt?

   • Can my credit union or bank help?

   • What do I do if I can’t work?

   • What community resources can help me with the financial burden of cancer?

Learn about and better manage financial challenges that may arise during and after cancer treatment. The evening will include time for you to ask questions of panel members.

Led by a panel of experts: Brittany Eaton (Collections Manger at Town & Country Federal Credit Union), Robin Letarte (Financial Advocate and Prior Authorization Manager at New England Cancer Specialists), and Elizabeth Newport (Public Affairs Specialist at the Social Security Administration).
