What It Means for Your Access to Cash
Staying connected to your money is essential—and we want to keep you informed about an upcoming change to the Co-Op ATM network and what it means for you.
What’s changing?
As of February 22, 2026, surcharge-free Co-Op ATMs will no longer be located inside Hannaford grocery stores. While these locations are going away, your access to cash isn’t.
You still have plenty of ways to get cash—fee-free.
Members can continue to enjoy access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, including nearly 150 right here in Maine through the Co-Op Network and partner ATMs. Whether you’re close to home or traveling, finding a convenient ATM remains easy.
Cash back at checkout—simple and convenient.
You can also get cash back when making purchases at many retailers during checkout, including grocery and big-box stores—no ATM required.
Generous ATM fee refunds with Rewards Checking.
Have Town & Country’s Rewards Checking? You’re covered. With generous ATM fee refunds, you can use ATMs outside the network and still get your fees reimbursed—adding flexibility and peace of mind wherever you are.
While Co-Op ATMs will no longer be available in Hannaford locations after February 28, 2026, you’ll continue to have broad, convenient access to cash through surcharge-free ATMs across Maine and the country, cash back at checkout, and fee refunds with Rewards Checking.
