| Giving back to our communities in Southern Maine |
At Town & Country, we believe we have a responsibility to help make our communities a better place for all our neighbors. One way we do this is by giving back and supporting the events and programs of local non-profit organizations and community groups through sponsorships and donations.
While there are many worthy causes and organizations doing good work, there are several areas we primarily focus on including:
-
Financial Wellbeing
-
Affordable Housing
-
Health and Wellness
-
Youth and Education Programs
-
Serve Underserved Populations
-
Community Enrichment
-
Food Insecurity
Sponsorship or Donation Guidelines
If your non-profit organization, community group, club or school has an event or fundraiser coming up that you are seeking financial support for or an in-kind donation, please feel free to reach out to us.
A few guidelines to keep in mind when submitting donation requests. Requests are most likely to be considered when they:
-
Reflect the cooperative spirit of “People Helping People”
-
Support the people and communities of Southern Maine
-
Strengthen the mission and work of non-profit or community organizations
-
Align directly with the organization requesting support and not a third party
-
Focus on community impact rather than political activities
-
Complement programs and initiatives outside of taxpayer-funded agencies
-
Support community-focused initiatives rather than individual scholarship funds
-
Contribute to programs and services that directly benefit the broader community rather than professional seminars or employee recognition events
Please allow four weeks from the time your request is submitted for a reply. Decisions to approve a sponsorship or donation request are based on available resources and the credit union’s priorities and criteria. Completed online applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. Organizations will be notified via email if the request is approved.
