At Town & Country, being a good neighbor means showing up, giving back, and investing in the people and organizations that make our communities stronger. Through our Better Neighbor Fund, which is part of our larger ‘Local Helping Local’ initiative, we’re proud to support local nonprofits that are creating meaningful change every day.
One of those organizations is Apex Youth Connection, a group dedicated to empowering young people through mentorship, education, and community engagement. In November 2025, Apex Youth Connection, based in Biddeford, was awarded a $3,500 grant from the Better Neighbor Fund to help further its mission and expand its impact.
Apex Youth Connection works to provide youth with safe spaces, supportive relationships, and opportunities to grow into confident, capable leaders. Whether it’s through programming, mentorship, or community-based initiatives, their work is helping shape a brighter future, one young person at a time.
“Organizations like Apex Youth Connection are making a real difference in the lives of young people in our community,” said David Libby, President and CEO of Town & Country Credit Union. “Through our Better Neighbor Fund, we’re proud to support their efforts and continue our commitment to ‘local helping local.’ Being a better neighbor means going beyond finances—it’s about investing in people, building relationships, and strengthening the communities we all call home.”
