Maine Cancer Foundation
More than 15 years ago, Town & Country’s partnership with the Maine Cancer Foundation began in a deeply personal way when one of our own staff members was diagnosed with cancer. Although he sadly lost his battle, his courage and legacy—and the many family members, friends, coworkers, and neighbors we’ve known whose lives have been touched by cancer—continue to inspire our commitment to this important cause.
Today, we’re proud to be a major sponsor of the Tri for a Cure at Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. Beyond our financial support, many Town & Country staff members will participate in this year’s event, and we invite our members to stop by our booth at the Expo on July 11 and cheer on participants during the Tri for a Cure on July 12.
Our partnership with the Maine Cancer Foundation extends throughout the year. We’re also proud supporters of Mary’s Walk and the Foundation’s CheckME campaign, helping raise awareness about the importance of cancer screenings and early detection for Maine people.
Supporting the Maine Cancer Foundation is one more way we put our Local Helping Local philosophy into action—honoring those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and helping build a healthier future for our communities.
