‘Local Helping Local’ Partner Spotlight
At Town & Country, we believe Local Helping Local means supporting all members of our community — including the four-legged ones!
We’re proud of our long-standing partnership with the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (ARLGP) and the important work they do to provide care, compassion and second chances to animals in need.
Our partnership goes beyond simply writing a check. Throughout the year, Town & Country supports ARLGP through community initiatives, volunteering and programs that help make a difference for pets and the people who love them.
DOGUST & NOVEMPURR
We’re especially excited to support DOGUST and NOVEMPURR, two special initiatives that help provide extra support for animals in our community.
DOGUST celebrates our canine companions throughout the month of August and helps raise awareness and support for dogs in need, while NOVEMPURR shines a spotlight during November on our feline friends and the importance of finding loving homes for cats.
We’re also proud to support the Pet Food Pantry, which helps local pet owners who may be facing financial challenges continue to provide food for their beloved pets. Keeping pets healthy and with the families who love them is an important part of building a stronger community.
Lending a Hand — and a Paw
Our team also gets involved by volunteering during the year, giving our employees an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and support the incredible work happening at ARLGP.
We know that a community is more than just a place where we live and work. It’s the people — and pets — who make it home.
