Protect Yourself from Scams

Stay Alert, Stay Secure

Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated — using text messages, emails, and phone calls that look and sound legitimate. Protecting yourself starts with knowing the red flags and taking a few simple precautions.

Town & Country will never ask for your authentication codes.

If you receive a call, text, or email asking for a one-time passcode, verification code, online banking login, or other sensitive information — do not share it. Authentication codes are meant for you only. Sharing them can give fraudsters access to your accounts.

Watch for These Warning Signs:

  • Requests for authentication or verification codes
  • Urgent messages pressuring you to act immediately
  • Unsolicited links in emails or text messages
  • Requests to “confirm” account information

If you didn’t initiate the contact, don’t click the link. Instead, contact Town & Country directly using the phone number on our mobile app, official website or the back of your debit or credit card.

Your security is a partnership — and we’re here to help you stay protected.
