“More important than ever to find your joy this holiday season”
As we enter the holiday season, I hope we can all find some moments of peace, happiness, and hope. I hope we can appreciate the good things in our lives, such as our health, our family, our friends, and our community. After the events in Lewiston earlier this fall and other challenges in our lives, community and across the world, it may seem especially daunting to find the joy and magic that make the holidays so special. However, that is exactly why we all should consider taking extra time to find it and spread it.
Whether it’s taking a drive to look at colorful light displays, sharing a meal with friends and neighbors, volunteering and/or donating to brighten the holidays for those less fortunate, or watching a holiday movie that makes you smile, find those micro-joys that warm your heart despite the difficult events and times we may be feeling or experiencing. A little joy can go a long way.
Admittedly, the holidays may feel a bit different this year, but Maine is known for its resiliency, kindness, and its sense of community. At Town & Country, we are proud to be part of this community and are committed to spreading joy throughout the season with our ‘local helping local’ charitable contributions to many organizations and causes that make where we live better, supporting and participating in holiday events, and sharing the spirit of the season in-branch, on the phone, or online.
